“ cocos. to describe it in one word, I would say... delicious. I’ve gotten boba here hundreds of times, numerous different flavors and I have loved all of them. There slushies are also delightful. I will never stop recommending others to this delightful eatery. ”
“ So many memories are created here. Love coming back here when in Austin. Friendly and fast service. Great drink selections, and they are all very delicious (not too icy and watery). My favorite is Peppercorn Chicken with Rice. It's very crispy but not too oily, perfect with pickled vegetables. Yum! ”
“ Tasty food and drinks, and the free soup for those who order food is a nice touch. The drinks are expensive for what you get. Many Taiwanese eateries in other cities offer significant discounts on drinks when food is ordered, but no such discounts exist here. ”
“ This place has great Chinese/Taiwanese food and a variety of drinks on the menu. I tried the ground pork w/rice and it was a fulfilling meal (I had leftovers also). The restaurant is a bit small though. ”
“ An epic place! We ate shaved ice bowls and the coffee boba. Both were amazing! A real appreciation to Ann and the friendly team! They were superb and answered all our questions patiently. Highly recommend if you're in the area. The custard are NOT halal but the pearls are ok! ”
“ I got the pepper steak and rice. It was the perfect warm meal for a rare chilly afternoon. The meat was tender and the sauce was so savory. I got my boba half sweet and that was perfect! My friend got the pork belly with rice. The pork was so juicy and the greens had a nice acidity. The eggs were a little overdone and confused the texture. The space is a little small but we had found a seat at the shared high table with no problem. I’ll definitely be back! ”
“ Taiwanese Plant-Based Options?!? YES PLEASE! Although ATX has many MANY options out there, too many too count, too many to choose from. CoCos is 100% a go-to place, we've enjoyed their food numerous times and are always left wanting more! ] We get (each time) -Peppercorn Tofu (so freaking good!!) -Tofu Veggie Lo Mein (request no egg to be safe) -Veggie Steamed Dumplings (some of the best dumplings we've ever had, the sauce is AMAZING) Man.. these dishes are ridiculously good! COVID Notes -We used UberEats, sent straight to our hotel door (on the 9th floor, pretty impressive) -The order was straightforward, quick, convenient & accurate -No issues at all. Thank you, Coco's Cafe, for having fantastic Vegan Options! ”
“ Love this place! Great place to stop on campus!! I usually get a standard black milk tea or taro with boba, but they have lots of flavors. I didn't see it on my most recent visits, but they used to have one or two almond milk boba drinks which is a rare vegan milk offering for bubble tea shops. The only thing is that food service is VERY slow -- like 25 min. ”
